Our Electronic Cabinet Import Utility - ECIU, the only one CERTIFIED by Ricoh Silicon Valley (RSV), tightly integrates front-end capture products' data and image capture system with Ricoh Silicon Valley’s (RSV) eCabinet image storage and retrieval system. ECIU is designed to leverage capture products' powerful automated capture for forms and documents and PDF and electronic forms solutions with eCabinet’s easy document storage and retrieval platform. Utilizing eCabinet’s "Custom fields" and document "Notes", ECIU expands eCabinet’s search indexing capabilities allowing unlimited search criteria to be stored.  Retrieval is facilitated by using the eCabinet's advanced search method.

ECIU provides users with both real-time and batch import options depending on network standards. ECIU’s real-time option inserts the images and search criteria into eCabinet at the end of each form process permitting immediate retrieval of stored documents. The batch option allows processing during off hours, thus reducing any impact on real-time operations.

In addition to our relationship with Ricoh Silicon Valley as a Development Partner, we have leveraged our decade of capture product expertise and our experience with other back-end Storage/Retrieval connectors when designing and developing this product from the ground-up using native eCabinet functionality.
